Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 September 2026

The short version: this is educational and informational content, not professional or legal advice, and not a guarantee of any business outcome. You are responsible for your own purchasing decisions. Digital purchases are refundable for 14 days; the monthly membership can be cancelled any month.

1. Who you are contracting with

These terms are between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME — replace once registered], operating as Unfiltered China ("we", "us"). Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record (MoR), which means the legal seller of record for your transaction is Lemon Squeezy, and its purchase terms also apply to the transaction itself.

2. What this service is

Unfiltered China publishes articles, guides and checklists about Chinese manufacturing and sourcing, and offers a paid membership that includes periodic analysis and a member question service.

It is not:

You are responsible for your own contracts, compliance, product safety and import obligations. Where a decision carries legal or financial risk, use a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

3. Membership (Insider)

4. One-time purchases (Playbook)

5. Your licence to the material

When you buy, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the material for your own business. You may not resell it, publish it publicly, or share it outside your company. Internal use within your company (for example, sharing the checklist with your procurement team) is fine.

All text, templates and analysis remain our copyright.

6. Acceptable use

Do not scrape or republish the site, do not share paid material publicly, and do not use the member Q&A to solicit our other members. We may end a membership for breach, refunding the unused part of the current month.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or losses arising from a purchasing or supply decision you make. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

These limits do not affect statutory consumer rights in your country of residence.

8. Governing law

[TO CONFIRM WITH COUNSEL — typically the law of the entity's place of formation, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your own country.]

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to members by email at least 30 days ahead. Questions: hello@unfilteredchina.com.
